In 2006, Mrs. Dorthy Mango founded New to You, a unique shop with a heartfelt mission. Nestled in our center, the shop has become much more than a vintage store—it’s a beacon of hope, sustainability, and support for a vital cause.
The idea behind New to You is as simple as it is impactful. Community members are encouraged to donate gently used items, including clothing for men, women, and children, household goods, designer brands, and books. These donations are then carefully sorted and sold at the shop, with all proceeds going to support the our center’s mission of empowering persons with physical challenges and full inclusion into our community and society.
In addition to its charitable mission, New to You promotes sustainability. By giving pre-loved items a second life, the shop helps reduce waste and encourages mindful consumption.
